Value of fps for video inference

Value of fps is 1 in the examples in the Model card given here: https://huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen2-VL-7B-Instruct
I see inaccurate results with fps = 1 or fps = real fps of the video. How is fps inferred by the model?
default fps = 2
real fps of the video should be passed to the model for inference??
Is there a limitation if real fps is more than 2?
Please let me know if fps is the actual fps of the video or the desired fps at which video will be processed by Qwen2-VL-7B-Instruct
