Commercial?

The model card states:

Generated outputs can be used for personal, scientific, and commercial purposes as described in the flux-1-dev-non-commercial-license.

Which is it? Commercial or non-commercial

I would interpret it as:

  • offering the model as a service is a commercial use
  • generating images yourself and then use the produced images for commercial purposes is okay even with the non-commercial licence

the commercial usage of outputs is outlined in the license: https://huggingface.co/black-forest-labs/FLUX.1-dev/blob/main/LICENSE.md

From the Licence..

Derivative” means any (i) modified version of the FLUX.1 [dev] Model (including but not limited to any customized or fine-tuned version thereof), (ii) work based on the FLUX.1 [dev] Model, or (iii) any other derivative work thereof. For the avoidance of doubt, Outputs are not considered Derivatives under this License.

Does that mean I can fine tune this model and then use the fine tuned based model for commercial purposes?

dont push them to say it out
