# **Proje CarbonMapper**
## **Project Purpose**
Urban trees and green infrastructure systems, which serve as urban carbon sinks within the scope of combating global climate change, play an important role in carbon capture-storage and carbon pricing. In this case, the goal of increasing the number and surface of trees/forests, which is frequently emphasized in the new economic order of the green agreement and climate pact, is considered one of the most important strategic actions. With the protection projects to be managed in the system, accurate forest inventories (tree height, trunk diameter, species, etc.) will be created to estimate the amount of biomass and stored carbon, and accurate and cheap forest inventory analyses will be provided by processing the data based on Deep Learning. The project aims to manage urban/non-urban forest assets and carbon capture capacity on base maps; with satellite images, drone images and 3D point cloud data, and to monitor the meta equivalent of carbon capture and storage.
## **Model**
This model has finetuned on 3 classes. Badem, cali and karacam.
