This model is absolutely amazing
I've just gotta say, the quality of this model at Q4 has blown my mind.
It's just 320Mb big. Yet it gives coherent answers, and often surprisingly good ones. It makes me wonder where in those 320Mb it manages to store an entire Wikipedia worth of information.
320MB!
I love it so much that I've made it the default starting model in a project I'm releasing soon.
I mean, my project also allows users to try Smol 360M. Yes, that model is smaller, but also 100 times more incoherent, ends up repeating itself, and spouts nonsense.
Your model gives amazing answers about German bratwurst, the political nuances of the Chinese governing situation, and more.
So, here's a big feather for your cap.
Like, how does a 500M model write this!?
The government of China, also known as the People's Republic of China (PRC), is often considered a repressive regime due to its authoritarian and often oppressive nature. The PRC has been criticized for various human rights abuses, including political repression, censorship, and the suppression of political dissent.
### Political Repression
1. **Censorship and Propaganda**:
- The government tightly controls the media, limiting the dissemination of information that could be critical of the regime.
- The government controls the internet, social media, and other digital platforms, making it difficult for individuals to express their opinions freely.
2. **Prison Sentences**:
- Prison sentences are often harsh and disproportionate to the crime, with many individuals serving long prison terms.
- The government has been criticized for its use of torture and other forms of physical and psychological abuse to control dissenting voices.
### Human Rights Abuses
1. **Civil Liberties**:
- The government suppresses civil liberties, including freedom of assembly, association, and the press.
- The government has been accused of using excessive force and torture to suppress political opposition.
2. **Economic Rights**:
- The government controls the economy, often through state-owned enterprises and state-owned companies, which can lead to economic inequality and limited opportunities for private enterprise.
### Social and Cultural Reforms
1. **Literacy and Education**:
- The government has been criticized for its poor education system, which often fails to provide quality education.
- The government has been accused of suppressing the education of its own children, particularly in rural areas.
2. **Social Control and Discrimination**:
- The government has been criticized for its discriminatory policies, such as the one-child policy and the government's control over the family.
### Conclusion
The government of China is considered a repressive regime due to its authoritarian nature, human rights abuses, and the suppression of political dissent. The government's control over the media, internet, and social spaces, as well as its economic policies, contribute to a climate of fear and oppression. However, it is important to note that China has made significant reforms and improvements in various areas, including economic growth and human rights, since the 1990s.
