Rejected and No Way of Resubmitting?
Not sure why mine was rejected, unless it was too generic to put my Affiliation as "Student" as opposed to the Uni...but it also seems like there is no way of appealing it/resubmission. Hope there's a way...
And I was even rejected with a llama2 notification🤣
I was rejected as well this is so weird. Also trying to download from Meta website does not work.
If any of you are from Europe, please keep in mind that due to Europe's ridiculous laws, the model can't be released there:
Community License Agreement are not being granted to you if you are an individual domiciled in, or a company with a principal place of business in, the European Union.
China and Russia are sanctioned at the moment, so it can't be released there either. It was like that for version 3.1 at least.
@hf-staff I'm in the same boat. I've never had any issues gaining access to Meta's HuggingFace repos in the past. What is going on? Can you guys please check and correct this?

It applies only to multimodal models, which is not the cas with the 70b

@hf-staff I'm in the US. I'm a California resident. I reside in California. I am a university student. All the details pertaining to my personal information that were submitted were entered in correctly.
I don't understand how I was granted access to LLaMA-3.1 and LLaMA-3.2, but somehow I am auto-rejected from gaining access to LLaMA-3.3. Something doesn't add up. 🤔
Update: Perhaps like others, I should have put the name of my University vs just putting my affiliation as STUDENT and occupation as STUDENT, even though this is true and this is how I have submitted my requests for access to the previously mentioned repos.

Thanks for the tip! I went and applied again, only changing my 'Organization/Affiliation' name to my University's <--- I got the keys to the kingdom baby! 😋

When you go to that page, can you delete the line with the request and resubmit?

Same, denied on a silly techniciality for something that has never held me up before. Hopefully they're not just fixing up 3.3, and are looking at 3.2 as well.
Also, just have to say ... how ridiculous it is that an answer as such got me barred from getting 3.2, seemingly forever, but the exact same answer got me full access to 3.3

Are you sure this has been fixed? I just got instantaneously denied, I'm never quite sure what to put in the Affiliation field and since I'm not part of Meta I wrote "Independent". I'm not from any restricted countries either.
Since some of us are getting the model through different sources, can someone with access of the HF model post a checksum for some of the files, so people like me can compare against it?
