Dissapointed, another closed A.I model company trying to pretend to be open source. Stupid.

Some of their models are open, some are not. They do have to make a buck or they cant give us anything.

What makes it different from llama? You can modify and distribute the code until you give credit to Mistral for the original model and under the same Mistral Research License.
It seems open enough to me.

A couple of the mistral licenses wont allow commercial use ( like the one for codestral ). But some do. I think the dude just wants it all for free to make his own $ off it, and does not understand ( or care ) how economics work. No income = no company = no free. Besides, if one is making $ off the model ( or any other OSS project ), give back.

well lets agree to disagree on this one, I was talking more about miss labeling on the card page. Models like this with this type of license are just to create users, no users, no business. maybe ive miss understood the research license. I beleived that createing commercial tools or fine tuning for a specific corporate use case is not allowed? If not in my eyes its not fully open source. Thats just me hahaha.
